This episode begins the first part of a two part series answering the question: “Why did you become a clown?”.  For every artist it is important to think about why you do the things you do; even when you can’t find the answer, you should spend time thinking about and considering your motivations. It’s a healthy practice that can help you refocus and reconsider your creative choices.

This season follows the stories of 15 professional clowns from around the world gathered together at the Nouveau Clown Institute in Barcelona, Spain. Each episode explores the world of physical comedy/performance theater through eyes of these amazing artists.
