My Taiwanese Paper Flower

A friend of mine brought me back a wonderful gift from Taiwan, a paper flower. I had never seen this before. You unfold this paper tree, then place it in a plastic tray. It comes with some kind of clear liquid that you pour into the tree. After about 4 hours this strange pink mold like stuff grows on it. I documented it with an animation for you.

Thanks,
Brian

HEY! I get no credit on this??!! It was totally my idea and my blood, sweat and perseverance after you set up the light kit and tripod!
    Sheesh!
It came out pretty cool though, huh.

Too bad I couldn’t stay up through the night 🙂

  4. Yes, Anne helped take many many of the pictures. She is a fantastic helper and has the special skills required for the redundant/repetitive actions required to make this sort of thing.
