Brian A. Bernhard (Producer/Editor) holds a B.F.A from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a major in sculpture and a minor in painting; as well as, an M.F.A. in Design and Technology from Parsons New School for Design.

He has been producing short and long-form broadcast documentary television for over ten years. During that time he single-handedly produced, directed and edited an EMMY nominated television series about artists of all media called “ART or something like it!”; where he interviewed hundreds of artists all over the New York City area, including: (Animator) Bill Plympton, (Kinetic Sculptor) Gregory Barsamian, (Video Artist) Bill Etra, (Musician) Langhorne Slim, (Filmmaker) Lloyd Kaufman, (Animator) Patrick Smith, (Sideshow Icon) Todd Robbins and many many more. He also received four additional EMMY nominations and won two TELLY’s for various promotional campaigns and finally won an EMMY in 2013 for re-designing, producing, and editing the educational magazine series “Study With The Best”.

Additionally, he co-produced several comedy/sketch interviews for ABC World News Now featuring: “Weird Al” Yankovic, Kevin Smith, Adam Carolla, Chris Hardwick and more. Over the past few years Brian has also been building a massive documentary project about the world of physical comedy, vaudeville, circus and clown called “A FOOL’S IDEA”. When he is not producing inspiring documentaries about brilliant artists, he somehow finds time to continue drawing, painting, shooting photography, occasionally writing music, and making experimental short fiction films.
